Honestly, if the movie is just this, we'll have zero complaints.

KONG in Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures’ action adventure “GODZILLA x KONG: THE NEW EMPIRE,” a Warner Bros. Pictures release.

The marketing campaign for Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is in full swing, and the latest clip from Warner Bros.’ South America YouTube channel tease once more that the two monsters, often fighting foes, are ride or die… literally.

As you can see in the video below, Kong and Godzilla are fighting frens in this movie, so much so that KONG RIDES GODZILLA as they go against a shared enemy, which appears to be a large orangutan? I don’t know, I’m not a primatologist.

The thirty seconds of video also gives us additional glimpses of Kong’s new mechanized hand, which he uses here to make a fist and grimace menacingly. We also see Kong get hurt, poor guy! I hope he makes it out of the film okay. And if that’s not enough for you, we also get to see Godzilla sport his new hot pink look as the text reminds us that the two will FIGHT TOGETHER OR FACE EXTINCTION!

The movie is directed by Godzilla alum Adam Windgard and also features some human stars, including Rebecca Hall (Godzilla vs. Kong, The Night House), Brian Tyree Henry (Godzilla vs. Kong, Bullet Train), Dan Stevens (Legion, Beauty and the Beast), Kaylee Hottle (Godzilla vs. Kong), Alex Ferns (The Batman), and Fala Chen (Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings).

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire will destroy theaters starting March 29, 2024.
